Spotify Premium is set for another price increase in the US, marking the company’s third hike since 2023.
Spotify announced that subscribers in the US, Estonia, and Latvia will be notified about updated pricing over the next month. In the US, the Individual Premium plan will rise from $11.99 to $12.99 at the next billing cycle. Student plans are also going up, increasing from $5.99 to $6.99.
Larger increases apply to multi-user plans. Duo will climb from $16.99 to $18.99, while the Family plan will increase from $19.99 to $21.99. These changes apply specifically to the US, while users in Estonia and Latvia can view revised pricing directly on Spotify’s website.
In its announcement, Spotify said that “periodic pricing updates across our markets reflect the value we deliver,” adding that the changes help the company continue improving the service and supporting artists. In emails sent to subscribers, Spotify framed the increase as necessary “to keep delivering a great experience.”
