Apple has officially introduced Apple Creator Studio, a new bundled subscription designed for creators working in video, music, design, and productivity. The offering consolidates several of Apple’s flagship creative tools into a single monthly or annual plan, aiming to simplify access to professional software.
The subscription costs $12.99 per month or $129 annually, while verified students and educators can sign up at a discounted rate of $2.99 per month or $29.99 per year. Apple Creator Studio launches on January 28 and includes a one-month free trial for first-time subscribers.

Pixelmator Pro—acquired by Apple in 2024—is launching on the iPad for the first time. The iPad version supports Apple Pencil and brings full-fledged, professional image editing tools to a mobile workflow.

Apple’s Vision for Creator Studio
Eddy Cue, Apple’s Senior Vice President of Internet Software and Services, said the subscription is meant to lower barriers to professional creative tools while speeding up production through intelligent features.
One-Time Purchases Still an Option
Apple emphasized that Creator Studio is entirely optional. All included pro apps—Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Pixelmator Pro, Motion, Compressor, and MainStage—will remain available as one-time purchases on the Mac App Store. Meanwhile, Pages, Numbers, Keynote, and Freeform will continue offering free core features to all users.
