Nothing has officially expanded its budget audio lineup with the launch of the Nothing Ear (3a), introducing a mix of hardware upgrades and an unusual new feature called Audio Snapshot. Priced at $99 / £99, the earbuds succeed the well-received Nothing Ear (a), while continuing to sit below the flagship Nothing Ear (3) in the company’s portfolio.
The new earbuds retain Nothing’s signature transparent design but arrive with refreshed colors, including a bold pink option, alongside black, white, and an updated yellow finish.
Audio Snapshot steals the spotlight
The biggest talking point is Audio Snapshot, a feature enabled by 32MB of built-in flash storage (16MB per earbud). Users can save short snippets of audio simply by pinching both earbuds before and after the desired moment.
Nothing says the feature is designed for capturing:

Bigger drivers and upgraded sound
The Ear (3a) also receives notable audio improvements.
